Spring Break Specials

We began the week with fun with my parents.  The kids loved exploring the Rythm Discovery Center, followed by Chick Fil A lunch.  Dad spoiled Champ again by taking him to the airport to get his hair cut.  We celebrated Champ's birthday at their house for dinner.  We finished the evening with a viewing of Peter Pan.

Today I worked out at the gym before I let the kids play in the gym.  Kelly and I ran inside while the kids stayed busy.  I was grateful for Abby and Emily taking Princess to the restroom.

I baked salmon for lunch.  I'm sure the new goldfish are a little leery of their new home since we have eaten both tilapia and salmon this week.

This afternoon we enjoyed Aunt Becky's Christmas present, a gift card for Incredible Pizza Company.  The kids did duck pin bowling, black light mini golf, pop a shot, and so much more.  We played a lot of duck pin bowling.  Champ got 3 strikes and 2 spares.  His best score was 103.  Princess was thrilled any time she knocked down a pin.  She would come back to give me a high five.  She would smile and beam with pride as she said she got a point.  We thought she should have gotten 2 strikes.  However, she didn't seem to have enough force in her roll to trigger the machine to credit her for 10 pins.  Princess managed to get the football through one of the holes during the football game.  Spending our e-tickets was thrilling.  Champ selected a dart gun, while Princess picked out a bracelet, ring, and wand.   I chose to add a deck of cards to their purchases.  Unfortunately, the dart gun broke almost immediately at home.

Now we are snuggling up on the couches to watch Cinderella.
