Circus Day

Yesterday we attended Circus Day at the Indiana Historical Society.  We viewed the exhibits quickly and spent most of our time watching performances on stage.  We viewed a circus act and an animal show.  Champ was chosen as a volunteer in both shows.  

We rationed supplies to pretend like we were helping flood victims.

Champ was a great assistant in the magic show.  We sat in the front row for the first show.

We watched another magic show and animal from the stairs.

The animal guy had his wife put the alligator to sleep by rubbing his belly. 

Next they brought a wolf on stage. 

Champ volunteered and was chosen to help onstage.  Unfortunately, his task was to hold the python.  Champ said the python started squeezing him.  The python also started wrapping around his leg.  That is when Champ started to freak out.  The gentlemen asked Champ if he wanted to be relieved from volunteering.  Champ jumped on that opportunity.  

The last animal was a baboon.  

I exercised in the afternoon.  Princess and I got groceries together.  

For dinner, I ate at Macaroni Grill with Lara, Mandy, Melanie, and Cory.
