Last t-ball game

This was the Champ's last time to bat during his 4 year-old t-ball career. After the game, the coach took the kids out for a cool treat at Dairy Queen.

This was The Champ's second time to bat during his last t-ball game. He didn't need a t-ball stand at all today. He made a hit in all 3 innings within the three pitches that the coach can give him.

Franklin Memorial Swimming Pool

Today we met the Pfeifles for swimming at the Franklin Memorial Swimming Pool. There was a large pool, baby pool, splash zone, and waterslide.

My fish also likes to toss his goggles into the water, wait for them to sink, and then dive down and get them.

Almost every day I try to take my fish back to the water.

Directing the Orchestra

There are lots of free concerts throughout the summer at the local ampitheater. Sunday's concert was the community band playing children's songs. We positioned my chair on the side of the lawn, and The Champ played soccer there with his daddy during the majority of the concert. There was a call for anyone who wanted to conduct the band. The Champ made his way up to the stage, chose 3 Blind Mice as his number to lead, and conducted the band. He was a little shy on stage, but he loved it.

Our Garden

The Champ and I are maintaining a garden. It contains seeds (that never grew), 3 types of flowers, and 2 cherry tomato plants. My gardening assistant doesn't like to weed. However, he likes to water everything and pick the tomatoes. He has such a heart to serve others. He picks the tomatoes for me and my parents to eat, but refuses to eat them himself.

Rock Star at The Childrens Museum

The Champ loves to sing. At this exhibit, you are supposed to do karaoke. Karaoke is a bit of a challenge if you don't know how to read. Therefore, The Champ makes up his own lyrics.

Further explanations:
I'm not sure how we acquired the funny glasses with the big nose. However, The Champ recently found them, put them on, and declared that he was my dad.

My parents took The Champ and I to see Toy Story 3. This was the first time that The Champ had been in a movie theater. He sat perfectly still the entire time. He said he enjoyed it.

We went to the Children's Museum with the Jeffries. It was good practice for The Champ to try to stay with another child at the museum. It was a stretch for him though. The Champ went to a play for the first time. The play was about Winnie The Pooh. He was actually excited to meet the cast at the end of the play. He has been scared of people in costumes for forever. The Champ got to be the first child in line behind the dinosaur at the end of the day parade. I was really proud of him for not getting upset when two kids cut him on the parade route.
